Donation FAQs
1. I am interested in contributing financially to the cause of Environmental Sustainability. How can I do that?
That is really great. You can support our work and initiatives through your financial contribution. To send in a contribution directly from your bank account, you can use any payment app that supports UPI (Unified Payments Interface) and can scan the QR code given on the page above. Do verify that the account name shows as “Paper Ball Educational Innovation”. You can then simply enter the amount and send. Then fill and submit the form alongside so that we may send your donation receipt to you.
3. Are donations to Paper Ball Educational Innovation tax deductible?
Paper Ball Educational Innovation has a valid 80G certificate. All corpus, general or programme specific donations to the organisation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The donor shall provide their PAN Card and be an Indian citizen to claim tax deduction.
3. I do not use UPI, can I send a check instead or transfer funds to your bank account?
You sure can. Please contact amit@thepaperball.org to arrange a check payment or for our bank account details.
4. I am a NRI (Non-Resident Indian). Can I make a donation to the cause?
As an NRI if you still hold the Indian passport (citizenship), you can make a donation to Paper Ball
Educational Innovation.
5. Why shall I provide information in the donation form?
We ask only for the information as required by Income tax authorities regarding donations and donors. As an organisation we are required to maintain this information regarding the donations received. Email and phone numbers are for us to be able to connect with you. From the donor perspective, you will be able to claim a tax deduction if you provide all relevant information including your PAN.
6. I want to make an anonymous donation. Can I do that?
We do not encourage anonymous donations. Also, anonymous donations are liable to be taxed upto 30% under Section 115BBC of the Income Tax Act in India.
