Time Commitment:
It may be noted that while there is considerable time and resource investment from our end, the course is being offered at a discounted fees to the participants. However, we would require commitment from each participant (and parent) to attend all the mandatory sessions. Please sign-up only if you can attend all 5 sessions.
A tentative session plan is shared below:
Session 1: Biodiversity & Ecosystems
Session 2: Interconnectedness in Nature
Session 3: Human Impact on Nature & Need for Conservation
Session 4: Global Warming, Climate Change and its Impact
Session5: Taking Action for Sustainable Planet
Batch Size:
For the benefit of the participants, the course intake will be limited to 20 participants per batch. Organizers reserve the right to select the best diversity mix for the course while keeping other candidates in wait list for current or future batches.
Methodology:
The course follows a mixed learning methodology including videos, stories, activities, experiential project based learning, group and peer learning, meetings, exploration, nature walks, reflection and sharing. The sessions have been kept flexible to integrate the needs of the learners
Fees & Charges: A discounted monetary contribution of ₹500 per student will apply. This fee is waived for participants coming through our partner NGOs. This course for the third batch is offered in collaboration with Nisaragopachar Kendra, Vadodara
Venue: The venue for this nature education series will be the green environs of Vinoba Ashram, Gotri, Vadodara (https://maps.app.goo.gl/jhn48taG4Xuhg5Zn8)
Certificates:
Certificates will be awarded to participants who participate in all 5 mandatory sessions and complete tasks as suggested by the facilitator.
Apply: If you have read the details and can commit time for this course, do apply. Children are encouraged to apply on their own. However, we urge that parents/guardians sit with children while they apply. Last date to apply is 15-April-2026. Apply early as there are limited seats.
